About us

Pharmaceutical Supply, part of the Healthcare Pharmacy VGR SU, works to supply Sahlgrenska University Hospital (SU) with medications for inpatients through monitoring delivery flows and various types of medication inventory management.

We have daily operations at the three major hospital sites: Sahlgrenska, Östra, and Mölndal.

Pharmaceutical Supply aims for high patient safety and cost-effective medication management. Pharmaceutical supply pharmacists and pharmacy technicians work with hospital-wide issues related to quality, assortment management, preparedness, and more, and provide direct support in care through, among other things, medication inventory management. We are part of an expanding operation with an increasingly clear role in healthcare and are steadily growing with expanded and more refined tasks. We are now looking for a new employee for a position as a Pharmacist.

Job responsibilities

We are looking for a licensed pharmacist for a permanent position. We offer an exciting, developing, and varied role where your skills, drive, and operational needs under constant change guide your assignments and responsibilities. In addition to participating in daily operations, this may involve participation or leadership in operational development projects as well as quality-enhancing work with review and action regarding medication management within Sahlgrenska University Hospital. Region-wide tasks within Healthcare Pharmacy VGR may also arise as needed and appropriate.

About you

We are looking for someone who is a licensed pharmacist and possesses a good ability to make decisions in the moment based on the information available; a solution-oriented approach is a given for you. You appreciate challenges, want to be a positive force in the team, and can juggle multiple tasks simultaneously with a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency. As a person, we see you as flexible, easily able to create new contacts and good relationships. You appreciate taking initiative, being attentive, and prioritizing tasks according to the needs of the organization. You are communicative in your role and have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing. You possess good pedagogical skills and can convey group and individual messages tailored to circumstances and roles.
