The psychiatric outpatient clinic in Lidköping is part of area of operations 6, adult psychiatry at Skaraborg Hospital. The unit provides specialist psychiatric care and consists of outpatient services, day care, and a mobile team. We are about 50 people working in the unit with nine different professions, providing a rich variety of competencies. We are located at Skaraborg Hospital in Lidköping. We work process-oriented in three diagnostic groups. Collaboration occurs with the municipality, primary care, and other healthcare partners. Our catchment area includes Skara, Lidköping, Vara, Grästorp, and Essunga.

Responsibilities

The core of our operations is the meeting with the patient. The treatment work consists of individually tailored assessments and treatments with both body-oriented therapy and physical training based on the patient's psychiatric needs. In addition to individual treatment, group therapy may also be relevant.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed physiotherapist with an interest in working with psychiatric issues.

Education in basic body awareness and experience in psychiatry are advantageous for the position.
