About Us

Närhälsan Dals Ed Rehab Clinic is one of five rehab clinics in Dalsland. Our other clinics are located in Färgelanda, Mellerud, Åmål, Bengtsfors and together with Trollhättan, Vänersborg, and Lilla Edet form one of eight areas in Närhälsan rehab. All clinics operate within the Rehab Care Model in Västra Götaland. There is a good network and collaboration among occupational therapists in Dalsland. We also have a well-functioning collaboration with community rehab in Dals-Ed, where we have an ongoing joint project.

About the Job

Your tasks include examining, investigating, and treating patients of all ages with various functional abilities and activity levels. Common conditions among patients you will encounter as an occupational therapist include: reduced hand function, pain, stress issues, and mental health problems. The work also involves prescribing aids and certificates for housing adaptations. Together with the patient, a personal rehabilitation plan is developed.

You will work both at the clinic, through digital visits, and with home visits. Patient treatment occurs both individually and in groups.

The work involves collaboration with other professionals, both within your own unit and with other partners. You and your colleagues are jointly responsible with the manager for the development of the operations in a continuously ongoing improvement process.

About You

You are a licensed occupational therapist. Previous experience in the profession is an advantage, but we also welcome you as a recent graduate. A mentorship training is also an advantage for the position.

We are looking for someone who is willing to take on the challenge of working independently, organizing, and planning your work effectively based on set goals. You can handle an uneven workload and unforeseen events. In your work, you will meet many different people, so it is important that you are attentive, communicative, and can identify the individual's unique needs to develop a common treatment plan.

About the Recruitment Process

The selection process occurs in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who invite candidates for a phone interview. After the application period, the recruiting manager makes a second selection of applicants and invites them for an interview at the clinic.

We use competency-based interviews, which means that answers to questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalized answers - this is so we can understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the outcome was.
