As a midwife, you will work independently with reproductive and sexual health.

Your duties include pregnancy monitoring, gynecological smear tests, vaccinations, contraceptive counseling, and STI prevention work. You will engage in telephone counseling, digital healthcare meetings, and student supervision.

About You

You should be a licensed midwife with prescribing rights. Experience from working in a midwifery clinic is an advantage. As a person, you are independent, structured, flexible, and possess good collaboration skills. Maintaining a professional attitude and a positive approach towards both patients and colleagues is essential. Personal suitability is highly valued.

About Us

The Mellerud Midwifery Clinic is located at the family center, where you will work alongside many different professions. Your closest colleague will be another midwife, but you will also collaborate closely with child health care nurses and preschool teachers, as well as family counselors at the family center. The midwifery clinics in Dalsland have a common manager and collaborate closely with each other.

Conditions

You will be based at the clinic in Mellerud, but your duties will also take place partially at another clinic.
