About Us

Närhälsan Mellerud rehabilitation clinic is centrally located in Mellerud, with the travel center (train and bus) just a minute's walk away.

The clinic is closely connected to Närhälsan's health center, with which we have a close collaboration. There are 5 employees at the clinic, four of whom are physiotherapists. It is important for us to continuously work on improvements in both clinical work and work environment, where we care for each other, thrive, and develop.

About the Job

Your tasks include assessing and treating patients of all ages. Common conditions you will encounter as a physiotherapist include: issues and injuries from the entire musculoskeletal system, pain, neurology, sports and exercise injuries, and mental health issues. The job also includes prescribing assistive devices. Together with the patient, a personal rehabilitation plan will be developed.

The work is conducted at the clinic, digitally, and through home visits. Some work can be performed remotely. Treatment of patients occurs both individually and in groups.

The job involves close collaboration with other professionals, both at your own clinic and with other partners. You and your colleagues are jointly responsible with the manager for the development of the operations in a constantly ongoing improvement process.

About You

You are a licensed physiotherapist. Previous experience in the profession and primary care is an advantage, but we also welcome new graduates. If you have supervisor training, that is also a merit.

We are looking for someone who is attentive, has good communication skills, and can identify individuals' unique needs as you meet many different people. You can plan your work effectively and in an organized manner based on the goals of the operations. As the workload varies and unforeseen events may arise, we see that you are flexible and independent. For you, it is natural to collaborate with colleagues and other partners in the work. Travel in the job may occur. A B driver's license is required.

About the Recruitment Process

The selection process takes place in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who invite candidates for a phone interview. Then the recruiting manager makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them for an interview at the clinic.

We use competency-based interviews, which means that answers to questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalizing answers – this is so we can understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the outcome was.
