The Care and Elderly Administration in Borås City works towards the goal that both younger and older residents in need of care, support, and services, as well as health care and preventive health work, should have a good life every day. The administration consists of approximately 2,500 employees, of which about 700 work within the municipal care and nursing homes.

The Fagerhultsvägen care and nursing home operates in facilities located at Fagerhultsvägen 1 in Viskafors. The residence consists of 26 apartments with a somatic focus. Job Responsibilities

Working in a care and elderly administration is to do something truly important. A job that is meaningful and enjoyable, where you make a difference every day! As a nursing assistant in the residence, you will perform tasks related to personal care and services such as meals, cleaning, laundry, and shopping. You will also carry out health care tasks by delegation, document in our journal systems, and develop implementation plans. The work is varied, and you will work both independently and together with colleagues, as well as cross-professionally with nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists to provide person-centered care and support. The job requires a strong commitment and active participation in developing and improving the operations. Working hours are scheduled on weekdays, evenings, and weekends, including holidays.

Qualifications

You are a trained nursing assistant with a degree from the Care and Nursing Program or equivalent education. The job requires you to be able to speak and write in Swedish. Our operational systems are a prerequisite for us to fulfill our mission, and you therefore need to have basic digital competence. To provide good and safe care and support, a good attitude is crucial, as is your interest in working with people. It is important that you are responsible and engaged. You also have the ability to understand other people's situations and are attentive to individual needs. Furthermore, you have a good ability to collaborate, create, and maintain good relationships with both users and relatives as well as colleagues. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Interviews will be conducted continuously during the application period. Before a potential job offer, an acceptable extract from the police criminal record must be presented.
