The Adult Psychiatry Unit (VO) in Kristianstad provides outpatient care in Hässleholm, Kristianstad, Simrishamn, and Ystad. Emergency care and inpatient care are provided in Kristianstad. Approximately 200,000 people live in our catchment area. We have a good collaboration with the municipalities through cooperation meetings and care planning.

The Adult Psychiatry Clinic in Hässleholm has about 50 employees. Our catchment area includes Perstorp, Hässleholm, and Osby municipalities. We provide highly specialized outpatient care in interdisciplinary teams. Based on our various competencies and experiences, our mission is to offer our residents within specialist psychiatry assessment, investigation, diagnosis, care, and treatment based on existing evidence.

We are a workplace with competent and dedicated staff who are constantly working to develop and improve the clinic's operations. The team consists of various professional categories, including medical secretaries, caregivers, doctors, physiotherapists, nurses, social workers, psychologists, unit managers, rehabilitation coordinators, and occupational therapists.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a medical secretary, you will work closely with doctors, other healthcare staff, and your fellow medical secretaries. Additionally, we have a close collaboration with the psychiatric emergency department, inpatient care, and other external partners.

At the clinic, you will become part of a wonderful and stable team that helps and supports each other. Your work primarily consists of receiving patients at the reception and organizing and structuring the administrative work at the clinic. In the team, you collaborate with various personnel categories and actively contribute to improving routines, working methods, and the development of the unit. Your tasks include writing medical records via MedSpeech in Melior, scheduling, registrations in Pasis, and managing referrals and team conferences. You will also be a great support to your colleagues. The role also includes reception work, phone handling, and managing incoming cases via 1177. Additionally, there is the opportunity for your own areas of responsibility such as My Plans, Callguide, among others.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who have a recognized education in Health and Medical Care Administration 80p KY/400p YH or equivalent medical secretary training. In addition, you have good knowledge of medical terminology and good proficiency in the Swedish language in both speech and writing. We consider it an advantage if you have good computer skills and knowledge of Melior, MedSpeech, and/or Pasis.
