About the Position

Do you want to work in a larger company where you can take on an important responsibility in accounts payable and contribute to smooth financial flows? Our client is located on the outskirts of Malmö, and you will become part of a close-knit finance team where you will ensure that invoice flows and payments are handled correctly and efficiently. The role is broad and operational, with a strong focus on quality assurance and follow-up of purchasing-related transactions.

Responsibilities

• Match purchase orders (PO numbers) against supplier invoices
• Ensure that price, quantity, and terms match the purchase order
• Code expense invoices and follow up to ensure they are correctly approved
• Prepare and execute payments
• Handle receipts and time reports
• Ongoing reconciliations and follow-up in accounts payable
• Contact with both internal departments and external suppliers

Suitable Background

We are looking for someone who has:

• At least 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting assistant role
• Good understanding of invoice flows and matching against purchase orders
• Experience in coding and working in larger accounting systems
• Fluent communication skills in Swedish and English
