As an Automation Technician, you will work to increase the technical availability at Oriola's distribution center. You will be an active part of the maintenance department and play a key role in ensuring the daily operations of automation and other technical equipment at the facility. We are looking for someone with a burning technical interest, who is proactive and engaged. You have the ability to take on challenges positively and maintain calm in stressful situations. In your role, you will have certain authorities such as delegating tasks to employees and making decisions regarding production stops, which is why it is important that you are structured, stress-resistant, and can prioritize in stressful situations. Responsibilities

  • Maintain high technical availability at the facility
  • Preventive and corrective maintenance
  • Problem-solving regarding automation systems
  • Work with continuous improvements
  • Development of preventive maintenance and updating of technical documentation
  • Participate in automation-related projects/rounds
  • Work to reduce costs for labor and spare parts within maintenance
  • Delegate tasks to employees and make decisions regarding production stops
  • Act as a maintenance representative in various forums of the organization

 Additional information:

  • Working hours according to a rotating schedule (3 shifts)
  • Desired start, immediately
  • The work is on-site

Qualifications

  • Technical education in a relevant field, or at least three years of experience in a similar role
  • Good knowledge of technical documentation, e.g., creating manuals and instructions
  • Good knowledge of both Swedish and English in both speech and writing
  • As a person, we see that you have a high safety awareness and are risk-conscious
  • Good collaboration skills as the work is always done in groups
  • You are comfortable acting in situations where everything cannot be planned and perform the work with high accuracy
  • Please note that the basis for employment is a successful background and health check

Preferred qualifications

  • Education in electrical engineering and experience working as an electrician
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, life sciences industry, or other process-oriented industries
  • Experience and knowledge in PLC, PC, SCADA, SRC, LEAN, 5S, maintenance systems
