Description

As a preschool assistant with us, you will be an active part of the educational work and contribute to realizing the preschool curriculum (Lpfö 18 revised 2025).

You will actively participate in the children's play and activities, both indoors and outdoors, and work to create a safe, inclusive environment where every child feels seen, heard, and acknowledged. In close collaboration with preschool teachers and other colleagues, you will help plan, implement, and develop the daily operations.

You will be involved in documenting and following up on children's development, and contribute to good cooperation with guardians. Together with the work team, you will also work on systematic quality work to ensure high pedagogical quality. The preschool is located in a nature-friendly environment, providing good opportunities for outdoor education and inspiring learning environments.

Qualifications

• Educated preschool assistant or other relevant education/experience
• Experience working in preschool is an advantage
• Good collaboration skills and a warm approach
• Engaged, responsible, and flexible
• Knowledge of children's needs and development
• Arjeplog municipality is a Sami administrative municipality, and Arjeplog preschool has a Sami department for children aged 1-5 years. Knowledge of Sami language and culture is therefore an advantage.
