ABOUT THE POSITION

We at Inre Kraft are now looking for substitute assistants for a meaningful and rewarding assignment with one of our child clients in Sävast. As a personal assistant, you will become an important part of the girl's daily life – both at home and during school hours.

The work involves accompanying her to school on weekdays and being by her side throughout the school day. You will work closely with her in all activities and contribute to creating safety, development, and quality of life in her daily routine. In the evenings and on weekends, you will work with the girl in her home environment.

This is an assignment with extensive caregiving and supervision responsibilities, where you as an assistant need to be present, attentive, and secure in your role.

Working hours are scheduled on weekdays and weekends as follows:

• 07:15 AM - 04:00 PM

• 04:00 PM - 09:00 PM

• 09:00 PM - 07:15 AM

We are looking for someone who wants to work extra as needed, with the opportunity to step in both during the day, evening, and weekend. Introduction can start immediately by agreement.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

You will be working with a lovely 7-year-old girl who enjoys singing, books, and play. She appreciates presence, safety, and sharing small and big moments with her assistant.

At birth, she suffered from oxygen deprivation, which has led to extensive brain damage, multiple disabilities, intellectual disability, and epilepsy. She has extensive care needs and requires constant supervision and support in all aspects of her daily life.

This means that you as an assistant are responsible for both basic care and medical tasks. She needs help with:

• Personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, and meals

• Transfers and medication

• Communication and social interaction

• Daily routines at home and school

She uses aids such as lifts, suction devices, and feeding tubes, and you will receive training and support to feel secure in all tasks.

We are looking for someone who has a genuine commitment to working with children and sees the value in creating safety and quality of life in another person's daily life. You are a responsive, calm, secure, and responsible person who feels comfortable with a role that involves extensive caregiving and supervision responsibilities.

Since the client has significant care needs, you need to be attentive, meticulous, and able to act confidently even in situations that require quick decisions.

This is an assignment that demands responsibility, precision, and commitment – but at the same time offers a unique opportunity to make a real difference in a child's life.

REQUIREMENTS

• Very good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing

• Previous experience as a personal assistant/other caregiving experience

Employment rate: Substitutes as needed

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensations in accordance with collective agreements.

Due to a legal change from March 1, 2026, the background check will be expanded to include both extracts from the criminal record and extracts from the suspicion register.
