Is the church a workplace for you? We are looking for individuals aged 18 to 25 for an internship where you can discover what it is like to work in the church and have a chance to think about what you want to do in the future. Perhaps you will find your future profession this year?

There are many different professions in the church; musician, deacon, priest, caretaker, parish educator, communicator, parish host, and many more. As a trainee, you have the opportunity to gain insight into several of these professions - while also becoming an important resource in a parish where your thoughts and opinions are valued.

About the position

Based on your own interests, we will find your place and the contexts where your skills and personal qualities are utilized.

During your year as a trainee, you will be supported by your supervisor. Together, you will create your schedule, have developmental conversations, and explore your place in the church. You will also be part of a network with other trainees in the Diocese of Luleå who meet regularly for training, collaboration, and inspiration.

Your tasks will include:

• Getting to know the Church of Sweden in Boden and its activities.
• Participating in worship services, children's and youth groups, staff gatherings, and adult activities.
• Reading the Church of Sweden's basic course.

The employment lasts from September to May, and the monthly salary is 23,520. The parish also has an apartment that you can rent at a favorable price during your year as a trainee.

• Is between 18 and 25 years old
• Is curious about the faith and life of the Church of Sweden
• Is a member of the Church of Sweden
• Has participated in some church activities

The age range is chosen because the program is aimed at individuals at the beginning of their career who want to explore different professions in the Church of Sweden.
