Alter Assistans is now looking for personal assistants for a client in central Piteå.

About the position

We are looking for someone interested in working days, evenings, weekends, and nights (on-call). The positions are approximately 65% and 83%, with the majority of shifts scheduled for the evening.

Two positions are available with immediate start after introduction:

1. 83 %

2. 65 %

About the client:

The client is a woman living in her own apartment. She communicates with a few words but largely uses body language to make herself understood. She enjoys being outdoors, but her daily life also includes calmer, more sedentary activities at home.

The client has extensive care needs and requires support in all aspects of her daily life.

Job responsibilities:

The work as a personal assistant is varied and tailored to the client's needs. Responsibilities include:

• Personal hygiene

• Dressing and undressing

• Mobility assistance

• Daily maintenance of the home

• Care and supervision

• Tube feeding (delegated task)

You will function as the client's extended arm and support where the disability sets limits. The work also involves handling delegated health and medical tasks according to current routines.

Who are we looking for?

• Responsible and meticulous in care work

Experience with tube feeding is an advantage but not a requirement. You need to have good knowledge of Swedish and be able to take delegation.

Introduction:

Together we will plan your introduction at the workplace. The goal is for you to receive sufficient guidance and security in both care work and tube feeding before you work independently.
