Description

As an educator with us, you will play an important role for our students while also having the opportunity to work with the school management and your colleagues to develop the school. At Vargen, we work based on our educational diamond while each school has its unique character. We actively work with various networks between our schools to learn from and with each other and generously share our knowledge and experiences during our training days characterized by collegial exchange and collaboration. We have the courage to constantly challenge ourselves and develop our teaching.

About the school

Vargen is an independent primary school with grades 4–9 located in Kiruna. We have good quality in our teaching and strong competence among our teachers. With us, children are challenged and build their knowledge for the future. All students should feel seen and welcomed and be given the best conditions to succeed in their schoolwork.

• Is passionate about craft, music, art, and/or home economics and has solid subject knowledge.

• Has good collaboration skills and enjoys working in teams.

• Has a reflective approach and actively works to develop your and the school's teaching methods.

• Plans, documents, and implements your teaching in accordance with our governing documents.

• Possesses good communication skills and strives to create good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians.

Qualifications

You have a teaching license and experience working in schools. You are responsible, positive, and have a genuine interest in education and learning.
