Östra School is looking for new colleagues

We at Östra School are looking for new colleagues who want to work with us starting in August 2026. We strive to provide our students with good subject knowledge, social skills so they can work and be together with others, and insight into each individual's special strategies for thriving and feeling good. This fall, we need to grow and broaden our expertise and qualifications.

Östra School is a middle and high school with about 200 students and is organized into two working teams, grades 4-6 and 7-9. We believe that both you who have long experience and you who are newly graduated can bring us new ideas and different perspectives. Together we can develop Östra School to become the best option in Norrbotten for students and guardians.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You plan and teach the subjects and grades you are qualified in and share mentorship for a group of students. You follow routines and guidelines for extra adjustments and special support, often in collaboration with our student health team. You are part of a working team and have close access to your colleagues and management. What you do not know and cannot do, we will help you with so that you quickly settle into your work and feel secure with your tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a qualified teacher in one or more subjects or have other pedagogical education and knowledge in the subjects you wish to teach. You are equipped with great patience and a strong interest in working with children and youth, and you know that with humor and engagement, one can go far.

The salary range for this position is between 35,000 - 45,000 SEK/month full-time. We apply individual salary setting based on your experience and competence.
