Lapland's Learning Center is the joint initiative for adult education and higher education units in Gällivare, Jokkmokk, Kiruna, and Pajala. RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of nursing teacher at Lapland's Learning Center, you will be responsible for teaching nursing subjects for adult students within the geographical area of the Lapland Municipal Federation (LKF). Teaching is primarily conducted via distance learning on the Canvas learning platform. You will work in a team with other nursing teachers at our four learning centers in Gällivare, Pajala, Jokkmokk, and Kiruna. In Gällivare, you also have the advantage of working alongside an experienced nursing teacher.

• Teach, support, and guide in nursing subjects at the upper secondary level
• Validation assignments within nursing education
• Method exercises
• APL planning with follow-up
• Develop your subjects in the Canvas learning platform
• Other teaching tasks are included in the assignment

QUALIFICATIONS

• Qualified and licensed nursing teacher.
• If you have extensive experience in healthcare and social services, a nursing education, or other relevant education, this is also meritorious, and you will be offered further training to become a vocational teacher.
• We expect you to be flexible, have a strong sense of responsibility, and easily collaborate with others, as well as being driven, engaged, and having a positive view of students.
• You should have good computer skills as a large part of the education takes place via the Canvas learning platform, and we use M365 in our work.
