We are looking for two dedicated and creative leisure educators or teachers in after-school care who want to create a meaningful leisure time for the students together with colleagues. Job Responsibilities

As a teacher in after-school care/leisure educator, you support and stimulate students' development through play, movement, creative activities, and social interaction. You plan, implement, and follow up on the activities both independently and together with colleagues in a structured and responsible manner.

You collaborate closely with teachers and other staff to create a safe, creative, and stimulating learning environment during both school hours and in after-school care. In this role, you build relationships and contribute to good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians.

Your assignment includes developing the pedagogical work in after-school care together with colleagues based on the curriculum's goals and contributing to a meaningful and developing leisure time for the students. The work requires flexibility and the ability to adapt the activities according to the students' needs and the conditions of the activities.

The work also involves supporting students during parts of the school day and collaborating with guardians.

• Education as a teacher with a focus on after-school care or leisure educator

100% permanent position. Start date 260810 or by agreement. Working hours during the day according to schedule.

About the workplace

Strömnässkolan is a F-3 school located centrally in Piteå. We currently have about 170 students in the entire operation and about 160 students in after-school activities, as well as about 27 employees. We currently have four after-school departments.
