We are looking for a teacher in mathematics and science subjects as well as technology for grades 7–9.

Fridhem School is a middle school with approximately 200 students. Each student has their own laptop, and we work with the learning platform, SchoolSoft.

You will work in a team and be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching according to the governing documents. You will also be a mentor for students. We see mentorship as an important part of the teacher's mission.

You have a good pedagogical ability and can inspire and engage students in learning based on their different needs and can vary your teaching. You have a positive view of people and know that every child has strengths, something you also focus on in your contact with the children and their parents. You invest a lot in building relationships with the students. You also see the importance of creating good relationships with guardians and colleagues. You are clear and concise in your communication and have the ability to motivate and inspire students to absorb new knowledge. You are driven by collaborating and communicating with others with the goal of constantly improving and developing the students' learning process. Working with digital tools is a natural part of your teaching, as is continuously following up and documenting students' work.

Requirements: The position requires a teaching license and qualifications in mathematics and science subjects, technology for grades 7–9 to obtain a permanent position. If you are in teacher training, we would prefer that you instead attach a certificate of completed courses so far. Upon employment, you are required to present a criminal record extract from the police according to the Education Act (2010:800 2 chap 31§).

Other qualifications: It is an advantage if you have worked with similar assignments within the school. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability where collaboration and initiative are important qualities as well as a genuine interest in children and youth.

The position is a 100% permanent position starting 2026-08-12 or by agreement. Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis, so do not hesitate to submit your application. Therefore, the position may be filled before the application period has expired.
