Regnbågen Preschool is now looking for two preschool teachers.

Regnbågen is a preschool with six departments, one of which is a minority language department. The preschool is beautifully located by the Vassara River with a view of Dundret. Working in preschool is a challenging, exciting, and creative job in close collaboration with colleagues in work teams. In preschool, we meet children in their first education and lay the foundation for lifelong learning, where you as a preschool teacher are important.

Job Responsibilities

As a preschool teacher with us, your main responsibilities will be:

• Plan, implement, and evaluate teaching that promotes children's development towards the goals of the curriculum.
• Support each child in their individual learning process and create a safe and inclusive environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to create the best possible conditions for each child's learning.
• Participate in the development work of the organization and contribute to realizing our shared vision.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is an educated and licensed preschool teacher. As a preschool teacher, you should be responsible and have clear leadership in the child group, and you easily create good relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues. Engagement, solution focus, flexibility, innovative thinking, and a strong ability to collaborate are qualities we highly value in our work. Gällivare Municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli, and Finnish according to the national minority language law. Knowledge of any of these languages is an asset when applying for employment in Gällivare Municipality. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

A criminal record extract from the Police is required, which you can obtain from Polisen.se. The certificate and identification must be presented before employment.

Monthly salary – we apply individual salary setting. Please state your salary expectations in your application.
