What the position entails

You will work as a teacher in the General Course (Allmän kurs), teaching adult students mathematics at both basic and upper secondary levels. We have students both on-site and at a distance, so the role includes conducting lessons in the school's premises as well as remote lessons via computer with students at other locations across the country.

Qualifications

Education in mathematics, pedagogical experience, and experience as an instructor. Experience working at a folk high school is an asset. We place great importance on personal suitability.

Extent

We are looking for 50% and upwards. The applicant's preferences and qualifications may determine the extent. Framnäs Folk High School is also seeking a mathematics teacher for 50%. For applicants seeking a 100% position, it may be possible to combine these two roles.

Working Hours

The position involves working on-site at Älvsby Folk High School two weekdays per week, with the possibility of working remotely from another location for half a day per week.
