JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Language Center consists of two units: the Mother Tongue Unit and the Reception Unit. In this position, you will work as a mother tongue teacher and study counselor within the Language Center's organization, which means working at several schools.

The work includes:

• Teaching in the mother tongue and study counseling
• Service at several schools within the municipality
• Remote teaching as needed
• Teaching in language choice in Northern Sami as needed

You are part of a team that works to strengthen students' multilingualism and contribute to their knowledge development through mother tongue teaching and study counseling.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a certified teacher with a specialization in the subject of Sami. It is desirable that you have teaching experience. We see that you work well in interaction with students and colleagues. You are independent, proactive, and goal-oriented. You see collegial learning as a prerequisite for students' development and look forward to working together in a team towards common goals with a focus on students. We place great importance on personal suitability.
