Welcome to the Labour Market and Education Administration of Boden Municipality!

We have joint responsibility for integration, labour market, education, and employment issues affecting our municipality's residents. The administration is also responsible for the School of Arts and Culture and catering, as well as fulfilling tasks for the medical and psychological parts of student health services in municipal preschool class, primary school, adapted primary school, upper secondary school, and adapted upper secondary school. Prästholmsskolan is a centrally located school for grades F-6. The school has approximately 250 students. We have parallel classes in each grade with a relatively high staff density. The school is organized into work teams: F-3, 4-6, and after-school care. At Prästholmsskolan, different knowledge and experiences meet to shape ideas and thoughts about the future. The school's main goal is for our students to encounter teaching that is language-developing, based on cooperation, and characterized by a conducive learning environment. Learning from each other in a multicultural context is a great asset at our school. RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be part of the work team for grades 4-6 and have close collaboration with your colleagues in the team where you support each other in daily work and work systematically based on curriculum documents and the school's routines for student health work. You contribute to the development of teaching and operations in general. Your tasks include planning, conducting, and evaluating teaching. You act as a mentor and maintain close contact with students and guardians.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed primary school teacher with eligibility to teach grades 4-6 in one or more of the subjects: Swedish, Swedish as a second language, Social Studies (SO), Mathematics, and English. Additional eligibility in other subjects is an asset.

You can work independently and have good social skills. You take responsibility and work with clear engagement for the students' knowledge development and social development.

You have good leadership with a clear structure in your teaching, clear and high expectations for your students, and create good relationships.

Great importance is attached to personal suitability.

Please enclose your teacher's license or degree certificate. An extract from the criminal register must be presented before employment in preschool and primary school.
