JOB DESCRIPTION

As a special educator at Högalidskolan's upper secondary school, you will work closely with the principal and staff at the school. The job involves developing and shaping the educational work at both group and individual levels as well as at the organizational level in collaboration with the principal, based on promoting, preventive, and remedial perspectives. You will support educators in how to structure their teaching so that education becomes accessible, inclusive, and creates participation for all children.

You will advocate for and support the work of the teams, as needed for educational assessments/action plans.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree in special education or another qualification deemed equivalent by the employer. As a person, you should have good communication skills, be relationship-building, and see development opportunities for both children and adults. You should have the ability to analyze possibilities at the organizational, group, and individual levels. We see that you have experience and the ability to collaborate with others and that you can flexibly meet different needs in the organization. You should be creative and willing to find solutions where the best interests of the children are the focus. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
