JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In your role as a teacher, you will plan, implement, and evaluate the educational work in the subject of crafts together with teachers in woodwork and in work teams. You will also find strategies to reach each individual student and support them in their knowledge development.

You can create an inspiring and safe learning environment where students can develop their creative and practical skills.

You will be part of a team with both educators, mentors, and resource teachers. You should be able to maintain a good dialogue with students, guardians, colleagues, and others.

In your role, you are involved in creating a safe foundation for our students. An important part of the work is to stimulate and motivate students to develop their abilities and create opportunities for learning. You should be well acquainted with the school's governing documents and aware of its documentation requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a licensed and qualified teacher in textile crafts for grades 3-9.

You have a structured approach and a good ability to design teaching based on students' needs.

You have a desire to develop in your work and will be active in the school's collegial learning. You are flexible, see collaboration as important, and have a solution-focused mindset.

Experience of teaching in primary school is an advantage.

If a qualified teacher is not available as an applicant, an unqualified candidate may be considered for a temporary position. In that case, a high school diploma is required.
