Unbyn School is in the midst of an exciting journey, with a brand new rural school currently being built in the village. While waiting for our new modern school (construction starts summer 2025, move-in planned for January 2027), we have our operations located at Hedens School. There are 64 students at the school who are taught in B-form. The classes are divided into preschool, grades 1-2, grades 3-4, and grades 5-6 with about 6-18 students in each class.

Together, we plan to create new opportunities for exploration and lifelong learning. The school is driven by great commitment, and all educators work to ensure that students have the opportunity to develop as far as possible. We draw inspiration from nature and culture while laying a solid foundation of knowledge in various subjects. We work thematically with different forms of expression. Projects often conclude with varied presentations where guardians are gladly invited.

We place great value on collegial learning. This year, our prioritized areas are reading and effective teaching.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone who wants to work as a teacher with us.

You will:

• plan and teach grades 3-6. All work is based on and well anchored in Lgr 22.
• be a mentor for 18 students.
• adapt the operations based on students' needs and have a relational approach.
• belong to a team with friendly colleagues who enjoy their work and do everything to ensure that students thrive and have the opportunity to develop.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who

• are a qualified teacher to teach in grades 3-6 of compulsory school.
• are positive, good at collaborating, and building relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. Together is the keyword.
• capitalize on students' interests and further develop them through both practical and theoretical work.
• are flexible and can adapt when the needs of the operation change.
• are curious and want to explore learning and available learning environments.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

In Bodens Municipality, we invest in rural schools. Certified permanent teachers in rural schools receive a salary supplement of 3000 SEK.

OTHER

A criminal record extract is required for employment in the school.
