Being employed as an SI leader provides you with leadership experience and an attractive leadership training. Experience shows that former SI leaders are sought after in the job market.

Job Responsibilities

Students learn to see each other as teaching resources and are trained in collaborative learning.

The SI leader's task is to guide the students and structure the SI sessions. The SI leader should not teach or present anything, but the group should collaboratively process the course content that has already been presented by the teachers. The SI leader acts as support and a sounding board in this process.

The specific job responsibilities for this position include:

  • preparing and leading an SI session in the master's program in service management
  • registering and reporting attendance after each SI session
  • writing a brief summary after each SI session
  • scheduling your own SI sessions and otherwise assisting with SI administration
  • participating in SI guidance when offered

Other tasks may also occur.

  • you must have participated in SI sessions as a student,
  • you must be on track with your studies,
  • you must be responsible, flexible, and willing to adapt to the needs of the student group,
  • you must be easy to collaborate with others,
