The Child and Education Administration in Vimmerby municipality is responsible for all educational activities, from preschool to university, and also oversees Swedish for immigrants (SFI) and civic orientation for newcomers. Our common goal is that the children and youth of Vimmerby municipality should have the best conditions to meet the future and develop into creative, curious, and secure individuals.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teacher, you, together with your colleagues, are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the educational work at your workplace. You are well-versed in the curriculum of compulsory school and accustomed to working with applicable goals and quality standards within the compulsory school system. You are a good role model, following the norms and values set by the curriculum and contributing to the implementation and fulfillment of the compulsory school's mission with high quality. Your task is to promote each student's learning and development, as well as to create the best conditions for students, guardians, and colleagues to thrive and feel secure in the school's activities.

The position also includes teaching students in adapted compulsory school.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a licensed teacher with qualifications to teach music for grades F-6.
• Has experience teaching students in adapted compulsory school, which is considered an asset.

This approach means that you find it easy to build good and trusting relationships with both students and guardians as well as colleagues.

Furthermore, we see that you are a responsible person who is comfortable planning and structuring your work based on applicable goals and quality standards within the compulsory school system. At the same time, we value innovative thinking in the organization and would like you to be someone who brings ideas and new thoughts that you also implement in practice to contribute to the development of both daily work and the organization as a whole.
