We are looking for someone with solid experience in economic and program administration who appreciates working in a service-oriented manner to support colleagues in doing their work as well as possible. About the job
The role of program administrator at Sida's Europe Department, located in Rissne, involves qualified administrative work focused on providing support to the unit's case officers in their work with aid interventions, as well as supporting the unit manager in financial monitoring of both the aid budget and the budget for internal costs.
Responsibilities
- Ongoing economic administration such as reviewing payments to partners and handling invoices.
- Together with the controller, ensure the quality of decisions regarding support to partners.
- Quality control and work in Sida's economic planning system Planit.
- Support to case officers in managing aid interventions in Sida's various IT systems (e.g., intervention management system and document, economic, and invoicing systems).
- Overall work with the unit's intervention portfolios in BISI.
- Assist the unit manager with financial monitoring of both the aid budget and the unit's management budget (including the travel plan).
- Support to case officers in connection with procurements and call-offs from framework agreements.
- Participate in department-wide work on internal governance and control.
- Other tasks as needed within the unit.

Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma, preferably in a relevant field, e.g., administration and/or economics or equivalent.
Languages
- Good Swedish in speech and writing.
- Good English in speech and writing.
Work experience and skills
- Experience in economic management, preferably in a government agency.
- Experience in providing economic administrative support to colleagues.
- Good collaboration skills and flexibility.
- Good knowledge of Office programs, especially Excel.

For this role, you need to:
- Take initiative and be proactive.
- Be good at collaborating and building trusting relationships.
- Be able to handle resistance, be flexible, and solution-focused.
- Have the ability to engage in dialogue and create consensus.
- Be able to use various analytical tools.

It is an advantage if you
- Have worked in an internationally-oriented workplace.
- Have experience with Planit and BISI.
- Are able to travel for work.
- Have experience in administrative work in a government agency.
- Have knowledge of other relevant languages.
Good to know
The positions are permanent with immediate start. A probationary period applies. The position is classified in a security class, which means that the final candidate must undergo a security check.
Sida offers the possibility of remote work to some extent if it works for the organization.
