The Office for the Development of Core Processes in the Prime Minister's Office drives and coordinates the development of the core operations' working methods in the Government Offices. The office currently consists of seven people who work with operational development, management, and product ownership. As part of the development of the core operations' working methods, a digital working method for government matters and preparations has been introduced in the departments. The digital working method is continuously developed through the development of new functionality in the digital tool that supports the working method and through changes in routines, guidelines, and template texts. The development work involves all departments and the Administrative Department.

As an administrator, you will contribute to the development work in accordance with the established direction for development. The focus of your work is to document the operational needs and requirements for the development of the working method. You analyze complex processes, problem areas, and questions both at a high level and in detail. You concretize needs and describe requirements and produce descriptions that can serve as a basis for software development and revision of routines and guidelines. For example, you produce user stories, mockups, wireframes, process maps, and flowcharts. Also included in the work is the preparation of materials for and participation in communication and training activities.

A central part of the work is to verify and anchor your analyses and the materials you produce and communicate the meaning of the solutions and how they meet the operational needs.

The focus and content of the tasks may vary over time. You will work closely with the head of the office and other employees in the Office for the Development of Core Processes.

Your Background

We are looking for someone with an academic degree in a relevant field, or equivalent knowledge acquired in another way that the employer assesses as equivalent. You have current experience working with the development of operational processes and investigating complex cases or areas of inquiry. You also have current experience and familiarity with analyzing, documenting, and translating needs into applicable solutions and requirements using methods such as service design, design thinking, and user-centered development or equivalent. You also have experience working in roles such as process developer, requirements analyst, UX designer, or similar. Good knowledge of operational development through digitalization is a prerequisite.

It is an advantage if you have experience working in public administration, for example, having worked as an administrator with case management at an authority, and have previously developed working methods through changing routines, guidelines, and instructions. Furthermore, it is advantageous if you have experience with IT tools for requirements management and for visualizing flows and processes and for producing mockups and wireframes such as Microsoft Visio, 2c8 Apps, and Figma. Insight into working in a politically governed organization and good knowledge of requirements management, operational and process development, as well as user experience will make you successful in the role.

You express yourself very well in both spoken and written Swedish.

The position is a permanent employment starting with a six-month probationary period. Start date according to agreement. The position is classified in a security class and a security screening with a background check will be conducted before a hiring decision is made.
