About the Assignment

In this role as a solution architect within Savings, you will work on designing robust and sustainable solutions in a banking environment with high demands for security, traceability, and regulatory compliance. The assignment includes integration work and the transfer of existing IT solutions related to securities and fund trading to a new company, as well as preparations for a future migration of accounts to FNZ's platform.

You will work closely with business, requirements, testing, development, architecture function, and suppliers. The goal is to translate business needs and technical objectives into feasible, quality-assured solutions and follow them all the way from design to deployed solution.

Responsibilities
  • Transform overarching needs into detailed and decision-ready solution proposals.
  • Ensure that solutions comply with guidelines, target architecture, security requirements, and integration principles.
  • Design integration solutions based on, for example, REST, Kafka, MQ, SFTP, and event-driven patterns.
  • Develop and quality assure integration contracts, API design, data mappings, and information flows.
  • Support migration design related to FNZ and SAVR, including data flows, conversion logic, and dependencies.
  • Design and quality assure APIs according to established API principles and frameworks.
  • Ensure correct authentication and authorization between internal and external systems (e.g., OIDC, SAML, OAuth2, and certificates).
  • Participate in technical reviews, design workshops, and realization planning.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and technical blockers and drive actions together with the teams.
  • Ensure that architecture documentation and solution descriptions are up-to-date and useful.
Requirements
  • Relevant academic degree (IT, engineering, or similar).
  • Knowledge of banking as well as IT and solution architecture.
  • Solid experience in banking operations and integration-heavy environments with high regulatory impact.
  • Experience in solution architecture or senior system development in complex technology environments.
  • Experience in architectural governance and change management in larger organizations.
  • Experience in integration architecture (REST, Kafka, MQ, SFTP, event-driven patterns).
  • Experience in authentication and channel architecture including authentication/authorization (OIDC, SAML, OAuth2, tokens, certificates, and IAM solutions).
  • Experience in information and data modeling, including data mapping between systems.
  • Experience in designing integration contracts and API specifications, preferably within established API frameworks and API platforms.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in Swedish and English.
Meritorious
  • Experience with solutions for securities trading and the Savings domain (products, account structures, regulations).
  • Experience in migration or platform projects, preferably related to FNZ.
  • Experience with LF's technical frameworks and patterns.
  • AWS architecture and cloud-based services.
