As a Product Leader
you will be part of the City Archive's IT and Digitization unit along with 30 colleagues. The unit's mission is to develop and manage a portfolio that includes IT workplaces, local applications, and city-wide objects. We work operationally with requirement gathering, solution proposals, design, development, testing, quality assurance, as well as support and maintenance. Security and cost-effectiveness are our focus.

Your role
With us, you will work in an experienced and engaged team alongside product owners, product leaders, service owners, system leaders, and developers. Together, we further develop and manage the city-wide object eDok. The role involves driving digitization, automation, and making Stockholm City's information accessible. In the long term, there are also ambitions to explore new technological opportunities, such as AI-based support.
You are a central contact person for the operations and are responsible for dialogue regarding needs, priorities, and delivery, with a clear service focus. You support all operations in Stockholm City and act as the link between operations and IT.
Your main tasks include
- capturing the needs of the operations and transforming them into clear requirements, as well as informing about status and progress
- creating and maintaining a product backlog together with the product team, prioritizing and refining requirements based on customer and end-user value
- defining product visions together with the operations and creating a roadmap for development with the product team
- holding presentations, demos, and training for stakeholders and end users
- handling user inquiries and support cases
- documenting use cases, participating in sprint planning, quality assuring and testing releases
- documenting and compiling reports, decision materials, and user manuals, developing key figures, and following up on the product's development
- contributing to the development of an object plan and ensuring that goals are met.
Your skills and experience
We are looking for someone who has
- a degree from a university or college in IT, computer science, engineering, or equivalent education
- a good understanding of the entire product life cycle, from idea and development to launch and further improvement
- current experience in roles such as product leader, object leader, service leader, technical project manager, or requirements analyst
- understanding of system architecture and technical solutions
- the ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
It is meritorious if you have
- worked with frameworks such as PM3 and ITIL
- experience with agile working methods, such as SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban, as well as tools like Azure DevOps, ReQtest, and ServiceNow

You inspire confidence, are secure in your role, and handle questions and feedback with engagement and clarity. You are self-driven and take responsibility for structuring and driving your work forward. The role requires you to be flexible and able to adapt to changing needs and priorities. You have a stable approach and can work focused and structured even when multiple questions and needs arise simultaneously. We also believe that you are curious and want to contribute to the development of the operations through new perspectives and agile working methods. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability, engagement, and motivation for the position.
