What Will You Do?

Riksbyggen is a cooperative company that develops attractive living environments. With 60 offices across the country and approximately 2200 employees, Riksbyggen is one of Sweden's largest property managers serving housing cooperatives, companies, and public property owners. For over 80 years, Riksbyggen has built and managed properties throughout Sweden. Safe, wonderful homes with space for adventure, celebration, and dreams. Riksbyggen is now looking for a Chief IT Architect. This is a new role that will report to the CDO&CIO of Riksbyggen, and you will be part of an IT organization consisting of about 40 employees and around 20 consultants. In this role, you will be responsible for Riksbyggen's IT architecture and Data analytics.

In this role, you will be offered great freedom under responsibility, where you have a central role in the company's IT management group. You will have the opportunity to truly influence and be part of a company that is at the forefront of the property industry when it comes to digitalization.

With Us, You Make a Difference

You will be part of the management team for IT & Digital management and development, reporting to Riksbyggen's CDO&CIO. As Chief IT Architect, you will lead the planning, development, and follow-up of Riksbyggen's IT architecture and Data analytics. The position includes personnel responsibility and consultant responsibility for those working with architecture and data analytics. The group currently consists of 7 people (including 2 consultants). Riksbyggen has a hybrid IT environment with systems in its own operational environment, Microsoft Azure, and SaaS services.

Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

• Technical choices and development of IT architecture and Data analytics capability at Riksbyggen
• Ensuring good communication regarding architecture and technology choices with internal stakeholders such as process owners, product owners, project managers, and IT management
• Leading employees and consultants
• Recruitment within the area of responsibility to reduce the number of consultants in the long term
• Monitoring costs and budget
• Supporting the CDO&CIO and IT management in strategic IT issues and collaborating with other IT managers in daily operational work

Furthermore, you have good communicative as well as technical abilities and are a good leader. You are structured, unpretentious, driven, and take on tasks that need to be solved with a positive and focused commitment. You build trust and are comfortable working at both strategic and operational levels.

We Also Expect You to Have:

• A university degree as an engineer, economist, computer scientist, or equivalent
• A systematic way of thinking and working: The ability to prioritize and carry out activities within financial frameworks and timelines
• Good knowledge of agile development methods (preferably Scaled Agile Framework, SAFe)
• At least 5 years of experience in IT development in senior technical roles (senior developer, IT architect, tech lead, or equivalent)
• Experience in leadership and personnel responsibility
• Good technical knowledge of several of the tools and programming languages used by Riksbyggen
• Experience in IT management processes, architectural work, and project management

The Main Technical Skills Required Are:

• DevOps (CI/CD)
• Microsoft Azure (Functions, App services, Graph API, Service bus)
• Power platform
• Microsoft Fabric and data governance
• Integration platforms and API-based architecture

It is advantageous to have good knowledge of Dynamics365 and AI development.

About the Position

You will be based at Riksbyggen's headquarters at Kungsbron in central Stockholm. Flexible start date, considering your notice period. Riksbyggen applies a probationary employment period.
