Do you want to drive complex solutions for some of Sweden's most interesting clients? We are now looking for a senior project manager who is not an administrator, but someone who takes ownership and drives projects forward. A person who dares to make decisions, steer clearly, and drive change all the way to the finish line.

You will manage complex projects within the public sector and larger organizations where the solutions are mission-critical and the requirements are high. This is not a PMO or administrative role; about 80% of your time will be focused on creating momentum, making decisions, and steering projects towards clear goals.

You will lead implementation and development projects from start to finish and work closely with the client's operations and requirements stakeholders to ensure that the delivered solution meets both the contract and the actual needs. You will manage change processes, navigate steering groups, and build strong teams where each person's strengths are utilized. In this role, you will have daily contact with the client's project managers and business experts, internal development teams, as well as both internal and external steering groups.

The role is central as you ensure that complex solutions work in practice, not just in theory. Where structure, documentation, and clear agreements are crucial, a project manager is needed who combines methodological knowledge with business understanding. You translate business needs and agreements into concrete delivery with clear business benefits.

You will work with large companies such as the City of Stockholm, the City of Gothenburg, and Länsförsäkringar. Here, you will work with large and complex solutions that make a real difference.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who has:

• A university degree of at least three years
• Several years of work experience in managing complex IT or business projects
• Experience in change management
• Confidence in making decisions that create momentum even when conditions change

It is an advantage if you have worked in the public sector or with public procurement and are used to working closely with business and requirements. Experience with call-offs, framework agreements, and established project methodologies is also advantageous.

You create a strong team spirit, move effortlessly between steering groups and development teams, and combine social security with structure and analytical sharpness.
