Backend Developer at the Swedish Parliament Administration
The Swedish Parliament Administration is an authority tasked with facilitating the work of the parliament. Approximately 750 politically neutral employees work at the Parliament Administration with many different types of tasks. Our operations are currently in an interesting phase as we plan a large project to develop our public APIs using the latest technology and need reinforcement with a backend developer. Fullstack developers are of course also welcome!
Your Responsibilities
As a system developer with us, you will be involved in creating solutions from concept to finished product and will continually help develop our working methods.
You will belong to a team that works agilely to develop and maintain system support for the administration's work. We actively work to use the latest versions of our frameworks and strive to have a modern and well-developed technical platform.
Your Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a post-secondary education in computer science or equivalent work experience.
You have several years of work experience in:
- system development in C# and .NET
- designing and building scalable and high-performance public APIs
- developing solutions according to best practices in secure development
- relational databases and data modeling
- Entity Framework (EF)
- code lifecycle management in Git as well as builds and pipelines.
Experience in the following areas is meritorious:
- search engines
- messaging/queue-based integrations
- Azure DevOps or another CI/CD tool.
Experience in software architecture, test-driven development, working in government agencies, and documentation of complex solutions is also meritorious.
As a person, you have a strong drive and a natural ability to quickly identify and solve problems. In your work, you always prioritize quality, IT security, and reliable deliveries.
Great emphasis will be placed on your personal qualities, especially your ability to create good, effective collaborations and to communicate verbally and in writing in Swedish.
The Swedish Parliament Administration applies a probationary period.
The position is classified in a security class, which in this case requires Swedish citizenship and a passed security check. We welcome applicants with diverse experiences and backgrounds.
