Junior DevOps Engineer with a focus on Kubernetes

Do you want to kickstart your career in DevOps and learn how to build systems that run at scale for real?

At Customer First AB, we are building an AI-driven contact center and case management platform for banks, municipalities, and large enterprises. Our platform runs on private Kubernetes clusters with MariaDB Galera, MaxScale, CI/CD pipelines, and a high degree of automation. You will work closely with senior developers and DevOps engineers and learn how enterprise systems are actually run.

We are a team of just over 30 people and work 100% from the office in Stockholm, as we believe in close collaboration and rapid knowledge transfer.

About the Role

We are looking for someone who wants to become really good at DevOps.

You don’t need to know everything from the start. What’s important is that you:

• Have the desire to learn and are willing to take responsibility
• Can think in systems, architecture, and strategic patterns
• Understand the value of automation and want to automate manual work
• Can write code in Python and enjoy building tools

You will work with our Kubernetes environments, CI/CD pipelines, databases, and automation together with the team.

We Believe You Have

• Basic knowledge of Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Interest in CI/CD (e.g., GitHub Actions or ArgoCD)
• Experience or willingness to write scripts in Python
• Understanding of automation and why it is important in operations
• Basic understanding of databases and high availability
• Ability to think structurally about system design

Extra Plus If You Have Tried

• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, or similar)
• Helm or Kustomize
• Node.js / TypeScript or SQL
• Monitoring and logging (Prometheus, Grafana)

Personal Qualities

• Curious and solution-oriented
• Willing to ask questions and test
• Enjoy working together with others in the office
• Have a long-term interest in DevOps and system architecture
