ABOUT THE POSITION

Tutus products are used by the military and authorities, which places high demands on reliability, security, and precision in everything delivered. As an AI Engineer, you will be responsible for taking AI from idea to functioning solution in production, working closely with Data Scientists and MLOps Engineers.

Tutus Data is building a new AI department and is looking for someone who has built applications with modern LLM tools and wants to do it in a context where it really matters.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

• Design and implement LLM-driven applications and agentic workflows
• Build and refine RAG pipelines against internal knowledge sources and structured data
• Be responsible for prompt design, evaluation, and quality assurance of model output
• Integrate AI solutions into existing systems via well-designed APIs
• Ensure that the solutions meet requirements for security, privacy, and traceability

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has a relevant technical education
• Has experience in development in Python
• Has experience building systems or products with LLMs
• Has knowledge of RAG architecture and/or agentic systems
• Has experience with API development and working in containerized environments
• Has knowledge of security and privacy perspectives in AI systems
• Is fluent in English, both spoken and written.

It is a merit if you have

• Experience with agent or RAG frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, LangGraph, PydanticAI or similar)
• Experience with vector databases (pgvector, FAISS, Milvus or similar)
• Experience in frontend development (TypeScript, React or similar)
• Experience in model evaluation, fine-tuning or prompt optimization
• Experience in a security-classified or regulated environment
• Can speak and write fluently in Swedish

Knowledge can be acquired through education, experience, or self-learning.
