Madab is a care and support company with offices in Hammarbyhöjden/Johanneshov. We operate in the areas of emergency and foster homes, supported housing, and outpatient care.
We are now looking for a team member for our Emergency and Foster Home Unit.
Those of us who work at Madab have a broad competence in care and support from both the private and public sectors. We have extensive experience in meeting children and young people who, in various ways, need the support and interventions of social services.

Job Description
As an emergency and foster home consultant, your focus will be to create conditions and provide support and guidance to emergency and foster homes during ongoing assignments.
Your workplace will be both in the office and out with the families.
As an emergency and foster home consultant at Madab, you will have a significant and varied role with the responsibility to:
- Recruit and assess new emergency and foster homes.
- Provide support and guidance to the families.
- Collaborate and cooperate with social services, networks, schools, and other important contacts for the child.
- Work systematically with care plans and implementation plans.
- Follow up on interventions and document.

Qualifications
Requirements
Degree in social work / social work qualification.
At least one year of experience working with children and youth within government or service provision.
Driver's license (B).
Meritorious
It is an advantage if you have completed a training course for supervisors of emergency and foster homes.

You have a strong ability to build relationships. You can relate to and communicate with others in a responsive and smooth manner. You can adapt your communication based on the person and situation, and you find it easy to collaborate with others.
You are flexible and can work independently based on goals and assignments, while also being a team player.
You create conditions for engagement, participation, and influence in your way of working and providing support. You think solution-focused.
You have good writing skills and are proficient with computers.

Other
The position is 40 hours per week. Emergency and on-call duties are included in the work schedule according to a rotating schedule.
We apply a 6-month probationary period.

A background check from the police is required in connection with employment.
Interviews for the position are conducted on an ongoing basis.
Start date is according to agreement.
