We are now looking for a summer substitute and part-time employee at Blomstervägen group home who wants to work during the day, in the evening, and/or awake nights. We also wish for you to work at 3 other group homes if possible. We offer training and a developing job where you can make a difference! The position is a general fixed-term employment.

About Blomstervägen group home Blomstervägen group home is located a bit outside Kallhäll Center, with bus connections available. Our residents belong to group 1, so it is desirable that you have experience with autism and intellectual disabilities. If you do not have experience, it is important that you are willing to learn. We work with individual support, and it is positive if you can use sign language or are willing to learn this. We operate according to our pedagogical framework where low-arousal responses are an important part. We are a workgroup that is very empathetic to individual needs and collectively create a personal pedagogy that we all follow; we believe that you want to work according to this approach.

About the role In the role of support staff, you will base your work on the individual needs and wishes of the residents, providing support in daily life from a pedagogical perspective. Together with other employees, you will work towards making the day meaningful and enriching. You will support and guide with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. An important part of the job is to stimulate and motivate the resident to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your tasks also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. Working hours are scheduled during the day, evenings, weekends, and sleeping on-call.

You will have a group leader or group manager close by who works part of their time in the operation. This could also be a future career opportunity for you.

Your experience and knowledge You who are applying have a high school education in health and care or another equivalent education. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, good computer skills, and experience with documentation. It is an advantage if you have experience working with the target group. Otherwise, your CV is not the most important. If you have the right qualities, we will provide you with support and opportunities to grow.

You have a positive outlook, a strong commitment to people, and are responsible. You enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues, always keeping our clients' best interests in mind in everything you do.

At Nytida, we are in constant development. With us, you can grow as a person while making a difference for others. Our culture is permeated by our values – respect, responsibility, simplicity, and knowledge.

What you get with us:

  • Benefits portal with discounts and offers

  • Leadership-trained managers close to you

  • A common pedagogy to provide the best care and support to our clients

  • Career and development opportunities

  • Collective agreement
