We are looking for a unit coordinator for a summer substitute position

About the job

Home care is an operation that requires good planning and quick adaptability. In this role, you as a unit coordinator play an important part.

In the past two years, home care has implemented digital planning for our home care units. The purpose of digital planning is to ensure the quality of service planning and free up time for staff close to the users.

Responsibilities

As a unit coordinator within home care, you actively contribute to the development of the unit, ensure it follows the frameworks, and that it meets set goals.

In the role of unit coordinator in home care, you will be responsible for planning services for users according to decisions. You will coordinate and plan the daily operations. You will plan the daily routes, which staff will assist which users and when. You will do this with a combination of user quality, staff work environment, and the unit's economy in focus.

As a unit coordinator, you will be the spider in the web and work a lot with coordination and collaboration in daily contact with users, relatives, staff, managers, and other professionals within our operations. You will have daily contact and cooperation with unit coordinators in other home care units to achieve the highest possible quality for users and to maintain a balanced economy.

You will also monitor cases in SAMSA (collaboration with healthcare regarding users).

Other administrative tasks are also included in the role.

Just like all employees within the Social Welfare Sector, the unit coordinator has the individual in focus.

To perform your work, you will work with various operational systems. The systems should facilitate your daily work and help you extract statistics used to develop the unit forward.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who has:

• Good administrative skills and can structure and plan work effectively.
• Good ability to use various digital tools and quickly adapt to different systems.
• Clear communication in Swedish, both spoken and written. You have a good ability to meet and respond to different types of people.
• Relevant education and/or experience working in care and support. Preferably experience in staff planning, service planning, scheduling, or other administrative work.
• Ability to work both independently and in collaboration with others.
• Good problem-solving skills and are flexible and can adapt to new conditions. This is required as the operation varies greatly from day to day.

Other

The position is a summer substitute from June to August.

Daytime work, varied working hours between 5:45 AM - 4:00 PM. Work on major holidays may occur.

Your manager will be one of the unit managers in home care. That is who you will report to.

Tests may be conducted in connection with the recruitment.
