The Family Department is part of the Social Administration and is responsible for all social services related to children and youth. We work closely together and value a culture characterized by responsiveness, generosity, and team spirit.

Since 2024, Danderyd is the host municipality for a joint family law service together with Täby, Lidingö, and Vaxholm. The operation consists of 11 employees and is led by a unit manager.

We are located in modern premises in Mörby Centrum, only about 14 minutes by subway from T-Centralen. Remote work is offered when the operation allows.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a family law secretary, you will work with qualified authority exercises and conversation work. Your main tasks will include:

• Conducting custody, residence, and visitation investigations and writing statements for the court
• Handling complex paternity cases and conducting adoption investigations
• Executing court decisions regarding visitation support
• Holding informational conversations about family law processes
• Offering telephone advice
• Leading voluntary collaboration discussions

The work is independent but takes place in close collaboration with colleagues both within the various units of the social administration and across municipal borders.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• A degree in social work or other education that the employer deems equivalent.
• Experience in authority exercises within family law work.
• Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish both orally and in writing.

It is also meritorious if you have:

• Experience in handling investigations involving children and youth.
• Experience in conducting collaboration discussions.
• Experience in conducting group activities Skilda världar.
• Experience in the conversation series Hela barn.
• A valid driver's license (B).

We are looking for someone who is confident in their professional role and can make well-founded decisions even in complex situations. You handle stress constructively and maintain professionalism and good judgment even under pressure.

You are structured and work methodically with clear planning and good foresight. At the same time, you have a respectful and clear approach towards both clients and colleagues. You are also expected to be active and contribute to the development of the operation. You have the courage to stand up for your assessments and can distinguish between the issue and the person. We place great importance on personal suitability.

During the interview, work samples may be conducted.
