Do you want a role where you can take ownership, work closely with the business, and be part of a close-knit finance team? We are now looking for an Accountant who wants to work at Kjell & Company's headquarters in Malmö until October 2026.

Kjell & Company is one of Sweden's strongest brands and a leading player in Swedish retail. The company has over 30 years of experience in consumer electronics combined with solid knowledge and personal advice. They are now looking for a driven, meticulous, and curious team player for the role of Accountant.

As an Accountant at Kjell & Company, you will work in a broad finance role with clear responsibility for accounts payable and contract management. In this role, you will be part of a team of six people with different competencies and areas of expertise. You will also collaborate closely with other departments within the company.

Your tasks will include:

• Main responsibility for the accounts payable system Medius
• Responsibility for approval flows in Medius
• Management of contracts in the company's contract module
• Rental invoices
• Payments and accounting of supplier invoices
• Setup and accounting of fixed assets

In connection with the financial closing, you will be responsible for:

• Fixed assets
• Inventory reconciliation
• Accounts payable
• Turnover rent
• Prepaid expenses
• Reconciliation of certain receivable and payable accounts

This position is full-time during office hours, and you will be employed by StudentConsulting but work on-site at Kjell & Company's headquarters located in central Malmö. This is a temporary position starting immediately and lasting until the beginning of November.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a post-secondary education in finance/accounting
• Has at least two years of experience in similar work where you have worked with accounts payable, coding, fixed assets, approval flows, accruals, and payments
• Has very good system skills (preferably if you have worked in Medius or Navision before)
• Is fluent in Swedish in both spoken and written form
