MUNICIPAL EXECUTIVE OFFICE
The Municipal Executive Office consists of several central support functions such as communication, secretariat, staff, HR, finance, food, IT, security, and investigation and analysis.
HR DEPARTMENT
The HR department is centrally located in the municipality and belongs to the Municipal Executive Office. We work strategically and consultatively as generalists but also have divided responsibilities for specific areas of expertise within HR. The department collaborates with managers throughout the organization and has a unique insight into all of the municipality's operations.
JOB DESCRIPTION
In your role as an HR specialist, you will provide the organization with qualified and broad HR support. You will act as a sounding board for the municipality's managers, helping them to be successful in their leadership and employer roles.
In combination with the generalist role, you will be responsible for the expert area of salary and system management. In your role, you will support the municipality's managers and participate in the salary process at various levels. You will also be the system manager for our various HR systems and the contact person for our suppliers.
You will participate in the development and implementation of overarching strategies, processes, policies, and tools within your areas of responsibility. You will lead the municipality's salary review and salary mapping and, together with your colleagues, be responsible for municipality-wide training organized by the HR department. Keeping up with the general knowledge development within your areas of responsibility will be an important part of the work.
Currently, the unit's GDPR responsibility lies with this position.
QUALIFICATIONS
As a person, you are trustworthy and have an easy time collaborating and building good relationships. Through openness and initiative for collaboration, you contribute to development and are happy to share your knowledge. To succeed in this role, you need to be structured, meticulous, self-driven, curious, and able to get things done. You are a good pedagogue and can express yourself easily in both speech and writing.
We are looking for someone who:
- has an academic degree in HR
- has experience in similar work
- is familiar with our contractual areas
- has experience/knowledge of the salary process
- has experience/knowledge of system management
