Do you want to strengthen the role of biogas in the south?

The energy system is changing rapidly. Southern Sweden needs more renewable energy, robust solutions, and smart collaboration between actors. Biogas is a key – for the climate, the economy, and a more resilient energy system.

We are looking for a driven project manager who wants to help shape the energy solutions of the future. You will play a key role in leading exciting projects and networks by supporting and developing actors, organizations, and the public sector. With us, you will work with the entire biogas chain but also participate in broader efforts for sustainable energy development.

Your role

As a project manager, you will initiate and lead projects, turn challenges into concrete actions, and build long-term collaborations. You will create engagement and increase knowledge among key stakeholders on issues related to:

• Increased supply of raw materials
• Efficient and sustainable production, conversion, upgrading, distribution, and storage
• Market development and system integration

You will be the operational leader for one of our biogas networks and lead projects focused on biogas while collaborating with municipalities, agriculture, energy companies, industry, research actors, and authorities. Although biogas will be your specialty, efforts in everything from fossil-free fuels, energy efficiency to sustainable regional development may also be part of the job.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a strong interest in technology, energy, and climate issues. You:

• have a suitable academic education in energy and energy systems or other education that the employer deems equivalent
• have at least three years of experience in biogas, energy issues, energy systems, or related fields that the employer considers equivalent
• have experience in managing projects or processes
• are proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• have the ability to participate physically in local, regional, and international meetings
• You also have good experience working with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Teams, as well as basic to good knowledge of Excel and other Office programs.

Experience with EU projects, energy transition in industry and business is an advantage.

• analytical but also action-oriented
• curious about new solutions and business models

Job conditions

• Employment: full-time position, permanent. A probationary period may apply
• Start date: as soon as possible by agreement.
• Location: Primarily Kalmar, Oskarshamn, or Karlskrona, alternatively Växjö or Lund. Our offices are within walking distance or have good bus connections from the central station in each city, making it easy to commute by train.
