Finance Assistant at Midsona

Midsona is now looking for an experienced and self-driven Finance Assistant who wants to contribute to developing processes and working methods in a dynamic and changing organization.

About the position
As a Finance Assistant at Midsona, you will be part of a Nordic Shared Service Centre and work closely with the finance department and our Nordic companies. You will have a broad and varied role with both ongoing and more analytical tasks. Here you will have the opportunity to take significant responsibility and help improve routines and workflows.
Responsibilities
You will work with:
- Handling, reviewing, and coding supplier invoices
- Checking invoices against purchase orders and following up on discrepancies
- Payments and internal invoicing between group companies
- Credit checks and other administrative tasks within accounts receivable
- Participation in monthly closing by preparing documentation and reconciling accounts
- Responsibility for the administration of the finance mailbox and ongoing contacts with internal stakeholders
The role is based at Midsona's modern headquarters in Västra Hamnen, Malmö.
Suitable background
We are looking for someone who is confident in the role of finance assistant and used to working in a fast-paced environment with change and clear deadlines. You enjoy combining structure with a proactive approach and thrive on driving your work independently.
You have:
- At least five years of experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Preferably post-secondary education in accounting or business administration
- Experience with larger financial systems, and if you have worked in M3 or MediusFlow, it is a plus
- Good knowledge of Excel is a plus
- Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
