About the assignment

As a social welfare officer, you will investigate, assess, and make decisions about interventions according to the Social Services Act. The target group is primarily elderly residents with various needs and life situations.

The role also includes, when necessary, supporting caseworkers responsible for planning within SVU (Collaboration upon discharge from inpatient care) together with other colleagues.

The work involves close collaboration with, among others, the individual and their relatives, colleagues, authorities, and external parties such as Region Skåne.

You will be part of an experienced and helpful group that values collaboration and an open climate.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained social worker or has other education, combined with experience, that the employer deems equivalent. Experience in social welfare case management within elderly care is an advantage.

You have good knowledge of current legislation and have preferably previously worked in the Lifecare case management system.

To thrive in this role, you need to be structured and have an easy time collaborating. The work also requires you to be solution-focused, independent, and flexible. You have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing. You communicate clearly and ensure that information gets through. The work involves many personal meetings and conversations, so a professional approach is important.

A valid driver's license (B) is required.

Working hours/duration

Permanent full-time employment. Start date according to agreement.
