As a Process Expert within the MIQsT section of the Validation Department, you will be part of a smaller, specialized team that supports the entire Production Unit with expertise in areas such as material, instrument, and process qualifications. In this role, you will have a clear focus on filters and filtration processes, working on filter validation and process optimization. You will drive deviation work related to filtration, provide technical support to production, and actively contribute to problem-solving and continuous improvements according to LEAN principles. The role also involves participating in other tasks within the section, using your knowledge to help develop robust and safe processes for the operation.

The position is permanent and starts immediately.

Your responsibilities and areas of expertise

• Filter validation, including small-scale studies
• Process optimization regarding filtration
• Deviation work related to filters and filtration processes
• Technical support in the filter area
• Problem-solving and work with continuous improvements (LEAN) in ongoing production
• Other tasks within the section

Your background

• University education in biochemistry/biotechnology/chemical engineering or at least 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical production
• Experience from the pharmaceutical industry, GMP, and knowledge of filtration processes.
• Highly meritorious if you have experience working with filters and filtration processes in the pharmaceutical industry
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English
• You are driven, solution-oriented, flexible, curious, take initiative, have a strong sense of ownership, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks.

Production Unit

• The Production Unit consists of five departments: Fractionation, Pharmaceutical Production, Biopharmaceutical Production, Validation & Operation Support.
• The only factory environment in central Stockholm where we have plasma-based and recombinant drug manufacturing.
• Production runs around the clock.
• Currently, approximately 2,800,000 liters of blood plasma are processed annually at the Stockholm factory.
• We continuously invest in our production, which has led to significant modernization and expansion of our manufacturing capacity in recent years.
• The MIQsT section consists of 6 people and is part of the Validation department, which is a support function within the Production unit.
