Technical Problem Solver Wanted for Railway Technology

Are you a technically skilled problem solver looking to work at the forefront of railway technology? We are seeking a key person for the entire lifecycle of our rugged optical measurement systems for rail vehicles. ABOUT THE POSITION

In this role, you will be a central figure from the first soldering in our production facility to commissioning at the customer's site. The work combines practical manufacturing and assembly with qualified field service. The role involves regular national and international travel, which requires you to be flexible, structured, and have good planning skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

The role involves participating in the manufacturing, installation, and maintenance of our systems with a focus on precision and quality:

• Assembly of electronics and mechanics as well as precision soldering according to IPC standards.
• Measuring on vehicles, investigating connection possibilities, and planning for delivery.
• Installation and commissioning of measurement systems on railway vehicles.
• Maintenance and calibration of systems to ensure functionality and standards.
• Diagnostics and troubleshooting of complex mechatronic systems in the workshop and field.
• Participation in development projects to improve system performance in tough environments.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has a technical education at least at the high school or vocational level in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, or equivalent, or has equivalent work experience.
• Experience in practical electrical work, troubleshooting, and installation of electrical systems.
• Ability to read and work according to technical drawings and schematics for both mechanics and electronics.
• Documented experience in soldering electronic components (through-hole and surface mount).
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Driving license B.

It is an advantage if you have

• Experience or education in railway technology.
• Certification according to IPC-A-610 or IPC-7711/7721.
• Training as an electrician with experience in practical work with electrical installations, troubleshooting, and electrical safety regulations.
• Training as an electrical engineer with experience in design, construction, and analysis of electrical systems.
