Administrator with Office Responsibility
Do you want to contribute to strengthening the conditions for clinical studies and the use of health data for research and innovation? As an administrator at the Swedish Research Council, you will work broadly and variedly in an organization where collaboration, structure, and quality are in focus. Together with engaged colleagues, you will help create a good working environment and favorable working conditions in a dynamic operation.
Role Description and Responsibilities
As an administrator with office responsibility at the Swedish Research Council's office in Gothenburg, you have a central and important role in the daily operations. You support managers and colleagues both within the unit and the agency as a whole by managing various administrative tasks and contributing to effective coordination. The role also involves some travel within Sweden.
Your responsibilities include:
- supporting managers and colleagues with administrative tasks, such as orders, invoice management, record-keeping, archiving, and booking travel and meetings.
- independently and in collaboration with colleagues being responsible for purchases and orders, as well as maintaining ongoing contact with property managers and service providers.
- providing administrative support in the form of compilations, follow-ups, and renewals of contracts, as well as other administrative commitments.
- supporting the agency in matters concerning workplace environment and safety related to the Gothenburg office.
Other relevant tasks within the agency may also arise.
You will be placed in the unit for clinical studies within the department for research infrastructure. The unit primarily operates from the Gothenburg office and consists of eight employees who work to support and develop the conditions for clinical studies in Sweden and to establish an advisory function for actors wishing to utilize health data for research and innovation.
Who are you?

In the role of office manager with administrative responsibility, you have many internal and external contacts, which requires you to be communicative, service-oriented, and collaborative. You are responsible and flexible, with a good ability to organize, coordinate, and prioritize. You work in a structured manner and can adapt your working methods to the needs of the organization.
We are looking for someone who has:
- completed high school with full grades.
- several years of relevant experience in administrative tasks.
- several years of relevant experience in ordering goods and services for offices.
- good proficiency in Office programs.
- good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form.
It is advantageous if you have:
- post-secondary education with a focus on administration or service.
- experience from a government agency or other public sector.
- experience in workplace environment issues.
- experience working in M365.
- good knowledge of English in both spoken and written form.
Placement
Our office is located at Kronhusgatan 7 in central Gothenburg. If the tasks allow, there is an opportunity to work remotely part-time.
Employment Type and Start Date
We offer a permanent full-time position with a 6-month probationary period. We would like you to start as soon as possible, considering any notice period.
