As a support pedagogue, you actively work at the group home by providing support, service, and care as well as planned interventions and activities in consultation with the customer. You motivate and support customers in their daily activities. The support you provide is always based on the customer's individual needs and should promote independence and participation. The support measures are carried out with respect for the customer's integrity and self-determination.

Legal and professional responsibility for established support measures according to LSS. Responsibility for, together with the customer and contact person, establishing implementation plans. To ensure that interventions in the customer's implementation plan are planned, executed, evaluated, and developed. Responsibility for social documentation related to the assignment and delegated health and medical services. To collaborate with internal and external networks and other partners.

To lead and guide colleagues in the pedagogical work and pedagogical methods that involve seeking, gathering, and disseminating new knowledge about pedagogical methods in the operation. Apply in-depth knowledge and share expertise and knowledge with other employees.

Examples of work tasks:

• Support during meals, social presence, support conversations, activities

• Responsible for mapping the customer's abilities

• Establish implementation plans

• Personal care

• Guide colleagues

Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, sleeping on-call, and every other weekend.

Syren is an LSS unit aimed at adults within LSS person circle 1. Syren has 6 apartments and is located in Höör municipality, surrounded by fantastic nature.Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is driven and dedicated with a big heart and a desire to make a difference. We see that you enjoy working with people and have a strong sense of service. You have the ability to be flexible and responsive when needed. In your role as a support pedagogue, you are responsible, structured, and have very good collaboration skills. You pay attention to others' opinions and competencies and give them space in the group in a way that benefits the whole. You take independent responsibility for your own tasks in both success and adversity. You also take responsibility for the common result and do what needs to be done for the organization to achieve its goals.

• Education as a support pedagogue 400 yh, or a university education of at least 60 hp in what the employer deems relevant, the area should have a clear focus on the disability area.

• At least 2 years of cumulative professional experience from pedagogical work aimed at people with functional variations within LSS.

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language is required, both spoken and written.

• Good physical ability, as the work involves activities with customers.

• Education and experience in several of the following areas: clarifying pedagogy and alternative communication TEACCH, TAKK, social stories, challenging behavior, MI, and low-affect responses.

• Driver's license required.

Employment form: Permanent employment with an initial probationary period of 6 months.

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
