We are looking for a responsible and meticulous Accounting Economist who wants to work broadly with accounting in an organization that contributes to the circular economy and a more sustainable future every day.

As an Accounting Economist at PreZero, you will be part of the company's accounting team with colleagues in Ängelholm, Skara, and Solna. The position is located in Ängelholm and you will report to the company's accounting manager.

This is a broad role, and the tasks include ongoing accounting, importing files from pre-systems to SAP, asset register, reconciliations, monthly and annual closing work, and owner reporting. You will also report VAT and intrastat statistics to authorities. You will work in several IT systems, including SAP, Alusta, E1, and Google Workspace.

In this role, you will have dialogue with internal contacts in both Sweden and Germany and also have the opportunity to participate in developing routines and working methods. You will also perform internal controls in various processes.

The position is a permanent full-time employment (40 hours/week) and will be filled as soon as possible. Overtime work occurs occasionally. Travel for work is about 1-2 times a year.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with at least a high school education in economics and 3-5 years of experience in accounting work, preferably in a larger organization. You are comfortable working with large transaction volumes, have good IT skills, and are experienced in working with business systems. Experience with SAP is a plus. You are fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written, and have good knowledge of English. Knowledge of German is an advantage.

You are meticulous, responsible, and structured as a person. You enjoy solving problems, are curious about systems and processes, and work proactively. As a team player, along with your communication skills, you create good collaborations and contribute to structure and quality. You thrive on breadth, work systematically, have analytical critical thinking, and are not afraid to dive into details when needed. Since you will handle sensitive information, integrity and your ethical judgment are unwavering. You enjoy working in an organization that focuses on continuous improvement.
